1-2-3 Subway Lines
When I was in New York recently, I stayed midtown, so I was a frequent visitor of Penn Station, where I would often take MTA’s faithful 1-2-3 lines uptown and downtown. Of course when I’m riding those trains, I always reminded of one of my all time favorite 1970’s films and ultimate subway movie “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three”, staring Walter Matthau as a New York cop who tries to stop a subway that is hijacked by Robert Shaw.
