71 Square Miles, Map of Brooklyn Represents Each Block with a Piece of Collected Trash

In the project “71 Square Miles,” artist Jennifer Maravillas is making a 10-foot-wide map of Brooklyn in which every block is represented by a piece of paper trash collected from that block. For more on the project check out this ANIMAL New York feature.
