24 Hours of LeMons, An Endurance Race for 500 Dollar Cars
The 24 Hours of LeMons is an auto racing series in which participants are limited to spending less than $500 on their cars (not including basic safety equipment). Telstar Logistics was trackside at a recent race at the Bay Area’s Sears Point raceway in support of Bernal Dads Racing, who fielded a Mazda Miata/Volvo 240 Frankenstein, the “Molvo.” “24 Hours of LeMons–Sears Pointless 2011” by MrTode provides a nice video overview of LeMons. The race series title is a play on 24 Hours of Le Mans, the famous French endurance auto race.
