Why YouTube Views Freeze at 301

YouTube viewers may be familiar with the odd behavior of the view counter on popular videos—that at 301 views the counter freezes for up to a day before resuming. Brady Haran (aka Numberphile) explains why this phenomenon occurs with the help of Ted Hamilton, a product manager for YouTube analytics.
