Vooruit

Vooruit’s The Game Is Up! festival takes place March 5th through 15th at the Vooruit Arts Centre in Ghent, Belgium. The festival features artists from all over the world who make fun of the art world and this year’s theme is “Art for Sale”, questioning the relationship between art and consumerism. Our friends from The Billboard Liberation Front and Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping have been invited to participate in this year’s event.

For an eleven-day period, Vooruit will offer a platform to artists who study the relationship between art and consumerism. From performers questioning their attitude towards show business to musicians committing commercial suicide and media artists embracing market principles.
