Weird Al wishes he were They Might Be Giants soooo bad.

Except that his long existing body of work predates They Might Be Giants. So who is really cribbing from who? Not tryint to knock They Might Be Giants either by the way.

Not a crib. Al is a big TMBG fan, so if “Skipper Dan” sounds like them, it’s an homage. But lots of people hear Weezer instead.

Al doesn’t wish he was anybody else, but he enjoys the challenge of crafting songs that sound like bands he admires.
