PIXEL is an interactive picture frame that allows you to display both animated and still pixel art on a 32×32 LED based panel. You can control what image or animation is shown by using specialized apps from an Android device (iOS devices not supported). When the display is not in use, it acts as a functioning mirror. The PIXEL project is a collaboration between IT director Al Linke, software engineer Ytai Ben-Tsvi, and open source hardware company Seeed Studio. They have started a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter, where you can pre-order a PIXEL display and also help with production costs. To learn more and view artwork example videos, check out the official PIXEL website.
