Made From Scrap

The new San Francisco community recycling workshop warehouse Made From Scrap (see my previous post) has officially opened it’s doors and workshops are available.

Made From Scrap, a creative workshop center, is geared up to offer workshops and demonstrations of a new variety. You know all of those plastic bags piling up in your cupboard? These guys will show you how to transform them into a purse so stylish you might want to convert your entire wardrobe to plastic. And that’s just the beginning. Through their workshops, all skill levels will be suited up to make messenger bags out of old jeans, add life to castoff clothes through screen-printing, applique, or felting, fabricate a happening wallet out of worn-out bicycle inner-tubes and much more.
