Back in July when I was traveling through Kentucky to Ohio, I stopped off in Covington, KY to shoot some photos of the beautiful John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge that crosses the Ohio River over to Cincinnati, OH. Built during the Civil War, the bridge was completed in 1866 and it was the longest suspension bridge in the world until 1883. It was designed by John August Roebling (who also designed the Brooklyn Bridge) and considered an engineering marvel, since up until that time, nothing like it had ever been built.

Here’s my full photo gallery of the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.

I drive over that bridge every day when I go to work in Covington. My favorite part of the drive.
