On the October 18, 2012 episode of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, they featured a Lie Witness News comedy skit where Jimmy sent a reporter out to Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles and asked people if they felt the earthquake from that morning, which did not really happen. Their lies / stories about the earthquake are quite humorous. This is one of many social experiments by Jimmy where he sends out a reporter to ask people on the street about something that did not even happen to see what kind of made up stories they give in front of a television camera.
