A Young Steve Martin Performs Magic on the Smothers Brothers Show

Steve Martin so young that his hair’s not grey. Don’t believe it? Believe it. Martin became a writer for The Smothers Brothers Show at the age of 21, and he was part of their Emmy for best TV comedy writing in 1969 on a staff that also included Rob Reiner. He learned his magic chops by working at the Main Street Magic store in Disneyland.
