16bit SXSW 2008

We’re excited to announce 16bit, a SXSW Interactive 2008 party that I’m co-organizing with Lane Becker of Get Satisfaction. 16bit, a follow-up to last year’s amazing 8bit party, takes place on Saturday, March 8th from 10pm-2am at the The Scoot Inn in Austin. The event will feature a performance by Austin’s authentic human oddities freakshow 999 Eyes as well as music by DJ Invidkllr and DJ V.I.N.cent.

16bit is sponsored by Joyent, Pownce, Rocketboom, ComicVine, Get Satisfaction, Laughing Squid, 30 Boxes and Dogster/Catster.

And as an added bonus, Joshua Ellingson designed a beautiful 16bit poster which we will be giving out at the event.

Please RSVP on Upcoming, Facebook or Pownce.

Wait, do we need to rsvp in all four places?

(btw, the field order in this form is strange. tabbing jumps around in an odd way.)

Is Scoot Inn the same location as the 8bit party? I’m thinking yes, but not certain.

Also mild typo: feakshow.

Dinah, yes, Scoot Inn is the same place as last year. Typo fixed.
