The Analog Animated Gif Player
The Gif Player by Belgian designer Pieterjan Grandry is a device that plays animated gifs that are printed on special rotary discs. It is based on the phenakistoscope, an early animation device invented in 1832. The Gif Player premiered earlier this month at the Animated Gif Exhibition in Antwerp, hosted by Crap is Good.
