Shorty Awards Art by Yiying Lu Featuring Felicia Day & Shorty Whale
Last night at the 5th annual The Shorty Awards in New York City, Fail Whale creator Yiying Lu presented Felicia Day with wonderful custom artwork featuring Felicia as the host of this year’s awards ceremony.
Yiying also created a special Shorty Whale for this year’s event, a follow-up to her 2002 design “Lifting A Dreamer” which ended up being used by Twitter as their now famous “Fail Whale”.
Back in 2010 Yiying created a “Pale Whale” to celebrate the premiere of Conan.
