Sasha Petraske, the expert mixologist who breathed new life into the modern cocktail culture with his venerable Lower East Side bar Milk & Honey in 1999 and subsequent establishments around the world, passed away on Friday, August 21 at his home in Hudson, New York. He is survived by his wife Georgette Moger, who told The New York Times that he died during the night. He was only 42 years old.
Rest in Peace Sasha. We raise a glass in your memory.
