Australian Man Raises Money for Charity With Record-Breaking 1.2 Million LED Christmas Light Display
Back in 2013, Australian couple David and Janean Richards raised funds for charity and earned a Guinness World Record by decorating their house with a record-setting 502,000 Christmas lights.
This holiday season, David Richards is raising funds for charity and setting a new world record with a massive Christmas light display of nearly 1.2 million lights in downtown Canberra. The 41,602-square-foot display–the world’s largest image created with LED lights–features three giant 3-dimensional Christmas gifts and a variety of illuminated holiday characters. Richards has created the display to raise funds for Australian children’s charity SIDS and Kids ACT.
