‘Kiss the Water’, A Documentary Film About Celebrated Fishing Fly Maker Megan Boyd
Kiss the Water is a new documentary examining the life of Megan Boyd, a Scottish fishing fly crafter whose celebrated work earned her the British Empire Medal. Helmed by The Bridge director, Eric Steel, the film explores Boyd’s life and work, as well as the larger world of fly fishing.
Megan never fished a day in her life; she hated the idea that her flies were used to kill fish–and yet she never stopped making them.
The film is currently available for download and will be screened across the UK and in parts of the US this month.
