Inventor Builds a Whimsical Drill-Powered Walking Machine and Rides It Around His Neighborhood
Inventor Izzy Swan of Think Woodworks has created a whimsical drill-powered walking machine. In a video posted to his YouTube page, he explains the build process and demonstrates how it works as he rides it around his neighborhood. The machine was inspired by the mechanism of the walking sculpture Strandbeest by artist Theo Jansen.
Swan has created a number of machines powered by drills, and earlier this year we wrote about his portable folding picnic table.
