The House of the Sun, A Beautiful Timelapse of the Sun Rising Above Hawaiian Volcano Haleakala

Los Angeles photographer Dan Douglas has captured a stunningly beautiful timelapse of the sunrise and roiling clouds from atop Haleakala, a currently inactive volcano on the Hawaiian island of Maui whose name translates to “the house of the Sun.”
