Artist Transforms 12-Foot Skeleton Into a Giant Chia Pet

Artist Ali Spagnola transformed a massive 12-foot skeleton into a giant living Chia pet. The project required navigating complex structural challenges and maintaining precise environmental controls so the delicate chia seeds could germinate and flourish across the entire frame. After assembly, Spagnola adorned the giant Chia skeleton with festive matching lights.
