Book & Documentary on the Curious Victorian Taxidermy of Walter Potter

The upcoming book Walter Potter’s Curious World of Taxidermy by Dr. Pat Morris and Joanna Ebenstein takes a look at the whimsical anthropomorphic taxidermy of Victorian era English taxidermist Walter Potter. The book will be accompanied by a documentary, “Where Kittens Wed and Birds Lament,” directed by Ronni Thomas. The book will be released on September 19, 2013 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. We previously wrote about a 1965 film about Potter’s taxidermy and his (now defunct) museum.
