Ben & Jerry’s Is Making an Ice Cream Based on New York City
Ben & Jerry’s is continuing its City Churned campaign — which created a new, but temporary flavor earlier this month for an event in San Francisco — by creating a flavor based on New York City. The new flavor, which has yet to be named, was decided based on the comings and goings of New York City. For example, every 1, 2, or 3 subway train arriving on time at Times Square counted as a vote for Spoonable Caramel and each on-time 4, 5, or 6 train at Grand Central Station was a vote for waffle cone pieces. The final flavor will include Spoonable caramel, Liddabit sweets, fudge, Sixpoint Brewery, fair trade vanilla ice cream, greyston brownies, fair trade coffee, and is available to taste at various events in New York City on July 26th and 27th.
