Artist Uses Sand to Create Ever-Changing Illustrations in Live Performances

Artist Jin Lee uses sand to make illustrations that he constantly changes and evolves in live performances. Lee uses his hands to make images in sand on a backlit panel. The images are captured by a camera and projected before an audience. This 2013 video depicts a 4-minute performance in which Lee recounts the early history of Earth in a series of sand art images.
