Artist Makes Recreation of Michelangelo’s ‘The Creation of Adam’ Using Cake Decorations
To mark the 450th anniversary of the death of Michelangelo, baking site Cake Angels commissioned artist Michelle Wibowo to recreate Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam” out of cake decorations. The 18-foot-wide art work is made of an estimated half a billion sprinkles and 10,000 marshmallows and took 168 hours to complete. It was displayed earlier this month at St. Pancras Church in London.
