Artist Creates Portrait of Hitman’s Agent 47 Out of 9,985 UPC Barcodes
To celebrate the recent release of the Square Enix video game Hitman HD: Trilogy, New Science Agency commissioned barcode artist Scott Blake to create a portrait in San Francisco of the game’s main character, Agent 47. Scott created the detailed portrait out of 9,985 UPC barcodes from actual Hitman HD: Trilogy game boxes.
Users can scan the barcodes with their smartphone to find out where to buy the game. Hidden QR-Codes unlock the video trailer, and artwork we commissioned for the Hitman HD: Trilogy art book.
