A Wobbly Bicycle Replicates the Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis in a Brilliant Awareness Campaign

For the brilliant campaign entitled “This Bike Has MS” developed by Grey Australia, a team comprised of neurologists, therapists, bicycle builders, Paralympian Carol Cooke and people with MS, worked together to deliberately design and build a wobbly bicycle that replicates the often painful, arduous and dizzying effects the disease. The campaign also promotes the annual MS Melbourne Cycle Race which raises funds for MS Australia.

This bike has been built with the symptoms of multiple sclerosis
hidden within its parts. Its wheels are heavily fatigued and its handlebars like pins and needles. Ride a mile on this bike and you’ll understand what it’s like to live with MS. …The Bike with MS will be ridden in the MS Melbourne Cycle on Sunday 6th March 2016. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event.
