A Map of the Silly and Slightly Rude Place Names of Great Britain
The “armchair adventurers” at Strumpshaw, Tincleton & Giggleswick have created the Marvellous Map of Great British Place Names, a geographic compendium of silly, strange, and slightly rude locales in Great Britain. Highlights include Galloping Bottom, Assington Green, and Shag Point. The map is available in two versions: a traditional Old School design, and a typographic New School version.
