A Comical Hand-Cranked Red Devil Robot That Crushes Aluminum Cans for Recycling
Argentine artist Guillermo Galetti, known as Ladrón de Chatarra (Scrap Thief), built a comical, hand-cranked red devil robot that crushes aluminum cans for easy recycling. The robot takes the can from a person’s hand, eats it whole, and crushes it flat to save space.
Galetti calls it a compactor with “charisma”, and the idea is that dealing responsibly with our trash should feel playful, not just like an obligation.
