A Buoyant Cover of Cher’s ‘Believe’ Played on a Restored Dutch Street Organ

James Dundon, the Mechanical Music Man, used perforated cardboard strips in his beautifully restored Dutch street organ, Blauwtje, to play a wonderfully buoyant cover of the classic Cher song “Believe”.

Cher’s “Believe” was released in 1998 and became a landmark pop hit, famously using the Auto-Tune effect as a deliberate vocal sound. There’s no auto-tune with this mechanical organ though.
