The Trinity Root, a 9/11 Memorial Sculpture by Steve Tobin

Trinity Root by Steve Tobin

The Trinity Root is a bronze sculpture by Steve Tobin installed September 2005 in the south courtyard of Trinity Church in lower Manhattan. He created it as a memorial to the root of the Sycamore tree that helped shield St. Paul’s Chapel from debris after the collapse of the World Trade Center towers on 9/11.
