The Roost, A Collapsible Ergonomic Laptop Stand

The Roost is a collapsible laptop stand that is designed to alleviate the unhealthy hunched over posture of laptop users by raising the computer’s screen to eye level. Raising the laptop also requires the user to have an external mouse and keyboard, which is a much more ergonomic setup than the laptop’s built-in touchpad and keyboard. The Roost is made in the USA of carbon fiber and Delrin, a high strength plastic. The Roost’s designer, James Olander, is pre-selling the stand on Kickstarter.
