The 8th annual Burning Man Decompression 2007 Heat The Street Faire, a massive post Burning Man celebration, takes place this Sunday, October 7th at Cafe Cocomo and on Indiana Street between Mariposa and 22nd in San Francisco. Personally Decompression is a bit boring to me. The only competing same day event though is the Castro Street fair which is beyond boring. Except… at the Castro Street Fair, tucked away between Castro and Noe is Sugar Valley ( http://www.sugarvalley.org/ ) the alternative party of the Castro Street Fair. In this one block are whacked out weirdos, freaks, artists, and general tongue in cheekiness that the rest of the festival is really missing.
The alone make the Castro Street fair worth attending.
