StopTheManga Wants You To Use Real Avatars

So not everyone is exited about the FaceYourManga avatar craze that has been sweeping the tubes recently, especially on Twitter. A group of anti-FaceYourManga vigilantes have formed StopTheManga to reverse the “Mangagtar” trend and help convince people to use real photos as their avatars.

What I don't get is WHY they hate it.

They'll get my Avatar when they pry it from my cold dead twitter.

i agree.

what's with people wanting to hate everything? they're cartoons…cartoons people! THIS, of all things in the world to put your efforts towards abolishing….THIS? cartoons?

nice happy funny cartoons that people enjoy making and sharing.
