Red Rabbit by Egmont Mayer

“Red Rabbit”, a beautiful CG animated short by Egmont Mayer.

A man lives alone in a small apartment. The little contact he had with other people has dropped to zero since the rabbit appeared. Every attempt to get the rabbit out of his apartment has failed and since he is not sure whether or not pets are allowed in the building, he does not let anybody enter his apartment.

ah ha what a fantastic ending! I didn’t see it coming at all! I really love shorts like this that can convey every meaning necessary without ever having to say a word.

What a wonderful work! I kept thinking of my son and his giant cat (23 lbs) and had many laughs throughout. Loved the dream sequences too. Then the ending! Oh, how wonderful!!! Thank you for the trip.
