Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a film about the magical creatures of the Harry Potter universe. The film is based on the book of the same name by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, inspired by a textbook mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Set decades before the events of the Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts stars Eddie Redmayne as wizard Newt Scamander, the fictional author of the textbook, and pseudonym used by Rowling when writing the book. The film is scheduled for release on November 18, 2016.
