Artist Illustrates ‘Elements’ of the Periodic Table as Original Comic Book Characters

San Francisco-based artist Kaycie Dunlap of KcD Studios has taken it upon herself to illustrate Elements of the periodic table as fantastic, original comic book characters. She took her project a step further by turning each character into a flashcard for educational purposes. The entire series of characters are available to view on Tumblr. DIY flashcard sets (part one and two) and pre-made flashcards are available to purchase online from her Etsy store.
