ZZ Top Makes TV Debut On ‘The Tonight Show’ in 1986

Legendary band ZZ Top made their television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in May of 1986, performing their hit songs “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Tush”. Doc Severinsen joined in on the fun, sporting a long fake beard while he played with the band.
