“Wanna Live Forever? Become a Noun” is a music video on the subject of eponyms: words like sandwich, shrapnel, and boycott that came from a particular person’s name. The video is by Robert Krulwich (of Radiolab) and musician Adam Cole for the NPR science blog Krulwich Wonders. LIFE.com has a gallery of 50 people whose names became eponyms.
