Vermis, Wallpaper Designed Using Ceramic Worm Sculptures
“Vermis” is a digitally printed wallpaper designed by Danish artist Malene Hartmann Rasmussen. The wallpaper’s pattern is made up of Hartmann’s ceramic worm sculptures arranged into abstract patterns. Hartmann notes that if you stare at the pattern long enough, malicious faces begin to appear—almost like a Rorschach test. The wallpaper was created last year for an exhibition at the Red House, the 19th century London home of Arts & Crafts movement founder William Morris.
