While staying at the Mabuasehube Campsite on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, visitor Francie Francisca Lubbe and her husband awoke to the startling sight of three thirsty lionesses licking off the water that had accumulated overnight on the side of the side of their tent. Luckily Lubbe was able to capture amazing footage of this wonderfully rare occurrence, which she originally posted onto the Kgalagadi Sightings Facebook page along with a number of beautiful photos.
Khiding 9 May. What a privilege. It rained during the night and 3 lioness licking the water from the tent.
