The Surprisingly Long Acting Career of Alfie Allen, the Actor Who Plays Theon on Game of Thrones

In episode six of his exclusive series for IMDb, host Brandon Hardesty of No Small Parts takes a look at the surprisingly long and varied acting career of Alfie Allen, who sprung to the world’s attention as Theon Greyjoy/Reek in Game of Thrones. Allen, the son of Welsh comedian Keith Allen and brother to singer Lily Allen, played his first role, however, at the age of two.

back in 1988 at just the age of two, he appeared briefly with his father in a series called the Comic Strip Presents. If you blink you’ll miss him. Fast forward 10 years, when he was 12 years old, he played Earl of Arendell’s son in the 1998 film Elizabeth. He wasn’t featured prominently again in film or TV until six years after that when he played a double bass player in Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. After this he began a long string of playing mean bully characters which would serve as good experience when he would eventually play the spoiled entitled son of the Greyjoys.
