Illustrator and animator Drew Christie has created a fascinating animated short using paperback books, charcoal, pastels and crayons. The Man Who Shot The Man Who Shot Lincoln is a film animation depicting the dark and bizarre life of Union Army soldier Boston Corbett, the man who killed John Wilkes Booth, Abraham Lincoln’s assassinator.
The eerie music was composed by Spencer Thun. The film won the Best Short Film award from the 2010 Local Sightings Film Festival in Seattle, Washington and was an Official Selection for the 2011 Atlanta Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.
