Simon Whistler of Today I Found Out wondered aloud how Superman, who is tasked with standing for “Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow”, keeps his hair perfectly coiffed and his visage free of any facial hair.

The Man of Steel is armed with a bafflingly wide array of superhuman capabilities that allow him to deal with most any threat or problem without breaking a sweat …However, there is one thing that can tax Superman and has caused him considerable stress over the years, his iconic coif of super-hair which as it turns out, is just as indestructible as he is. This begs the question, how the hell does Superman keep his luscious locks trimmed nicely?

Whistler also pondered why Superman and other superheroes wore their underwear on the outside of their costumes.
