noPhoto, License Plate Frame That Thwarts Traffic Cameras
noPhoto is an electronic license plate frame that automatically obscures the license plate when a camera flash is detected (from a traffic camera or otherwise). A sensor on the frame detects a camera flash from up to 150 feet away and a fraction of a second later, triggers two xenon flashes in the frame that blast the license plate with light. The result: photos of the license plate will come out overexposed and unreadable (see noPhoto work in this testing session). Jonathan Dandrow, inventor of noPhoto and founder of noLimits Enterprises, is raising funds on Indiegogo to finance production of the frame.
