Moving the Still, Online GIF Festival & Exhibition at Miami Art Week 2012
Moving the Still: A GIF Festival presented by Tumblr and smartwater is a first-of-its-kind large-scale online and physical exhibition that will take place during Miami Art Week 2012 at Art | Basel Miami Beach to celebrate animated GIF artwork curated by a large Selection Council from different creative industries including Paddle8, R.E.M. lead vocalist Michael Stipe, author James Frey and many more. They are currently accepting submissions to be considered for a chance to be presented in the exhibition. Select submissions will also be published on the Moving the Still blog.
