John Oliver Calls Out the Confusing and Convoluted Process of Presidential Primaries and Caucuses

John Oliver called out the confusing and convoluted processes behind presidential primaries and caucuses on the May 22, 2016 episode of Last Week Tonight. Although the system is rife with problems as Oliver points out, “The middle of the game is the worst possible time to change the rules,” so he is calling on people to write to the chairs of both the Democratic and Republican parties on February 2, 2017 to have the problems corrected before the next election.
