Ferrari Unveils LaFerrari, A V12 Hybrid Supercar

Prius owners looking for a second car can rejoice: Today Ferrari has finally announced a hybrid car. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the LaFerrari has both a 789 HP V12 and a 161 HP electric motor for a combined 950 HP (a Toyota Prius has a combined 134 HP). LaFerrari is expected to be the fastest Ferrari roadcar ever, thanks in part to the power boost provided by the electric motor. Only 499 examples are being handmade in Italy for a price in excess of $1 million.
