Kirby Ferguson has released “Everything Is a Remix Case Study: The iPhone,” a video that looks at how Apple drew inspiration from real-world objects to make the first iPhone seem familiar to new users, and then stripped skeuomorphic influences once multi-touch smartphones became commonplace.
