Drawings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Characters Come to Life in Artist’s Animated Vine and Instagram Videos
New York City artist Wahyu Ichwandari (a.k.a. “Pinot“) has created an incredible series of animated Instagram videos where his drawings of characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens come to life. Wahyu has shared behind-the-scenes information about his design process on Behance.
Making a series of fan-made mini trailer from Star Wars – The Force Awakens trailer into 6 sec Vine & 10 sec Instagram (in HD format). Using hand-drawn animation technique, combined with stop-motion real objects.
For frame-by-frame camera movement, I’m using Logitech HD cam attached to Arduino + stepper motor, controlled on Dragonframe software via DFMoco script.
