In a timely episode of the Wired series [De]Constructed, New York City watchmaker Ryan Jewell deliberately takes apart two beautiful Carpenter timepieces – one with Swiss movement and the other Japanese – in order to show the inner workings of each.

Today we’re gonna break apart these two watches made by Carpenter watches. The one on the Left – it has a Japanese movement in it. The one on the right has a movement made in Switzerland.
